The NGH holds to the ideal that hypnotism should be practiced in a free and open manner in line with all national and state requirements. NGH Hypnotists are not practicing medical or mental health arts (unless additional credentials are held by the member). NGH certified hypnotists do not diagnose disease, but can be helpful as an adjunct to conventional medical or mental health interventions.
